María Teresa graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2009. In 2012 she pursued a Diploma in Public Policy at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2015 she earned a Master in Laws (LLM) from Duke University, North Carolina, EEUU.
She began her professional career with Garrigues, formerly Avendaño Merino Abogados law firm, in 2011; specializing in corporate and real estate law and M&A, at international and national level; where she stayed until December 2018. In 2019 she joined the tax law firm Ulloa y Compañía as a senior associate.
