Lucas Ortega Soffia

Lucas holds a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master’s in Tax Management and Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

He began his career as a legal intern in the Tax Department of Carey & Cía.

In 2019, he joined the Tax Department of Baraona & Fischer, continuing his work there and, following the firm’s division, at Fischer y Cía.

In 2023, he joined KPMG’s Tax & Legal practice as a Supervisor, focusing on tax and corporate advisory services, as well as the design and implementation of corporate reorganization processes.

In 2025, he became part of Bruzzone & González Abogados, joining the firm to support the General Consulting and Tax Restructuring practice.

His professional experience focuses on domestic and international tax advisory, personal and corporate tax planning and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, tax litigation, and the structuring of investments in and from abroad.
